“The Decameron”
One of the only brand new series on our list, period comedy “The Decameron” follows in the tradition of similar hits for Netflix like “Bridgerton,” only this one is set during the time of the black plague.
In the scant few days since its release “The Decameron” has already scored 2.1 million views.
“Homicide: Los Angeles”
The chilling Netflix true crime series “Homicide: Los Angeles” enjoys it’s second straight week on Netflix’s top ten list. The show sees investigators and prosecutors from the City of Angels recounting their most intense and difficult cases.
“Homicide: Los Angeles” scared up 2.4 million views in the last week.
“Supacell”
One great thing about the streaming era of tv is that international shows can easily find American audiences. Such is the case with the first season of “Supacell,” the British superhero show about a group of of average citizens who randomly gain super powers.
The show, which has a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, gained 2.5 million views in the past week.
“Vikings: Valhalla” Season 3
The sequel series to the History Channel’s “Vikings,” Netflix’s “Vikings: Valhalla” has been as popular, if not more, than it’s predecessor series. This popularity has not waned in it’s third and final season.
“Vikings: Valhalla” Season 3 had 3.3 million views in the past week.
Simone Biles Rising
With Simone Biles and Team USA winning two gold medals in gymnastics at the Paris Olympics this past week, it is not surprise that the Netflix docuseries about her would be a huge hit for the network.
The series, which follows Biles after withdrawing from the 2020 Olympics and training to make her triumphant comeback, had 3.5 million views in the last week.
“Too Hot To Handle” Season 6
Netflix’s hit reality series “Too Hot To Handle” sees a bunch of sexy singles living in a luxury villa together- but to win the prize money they must keep their hands to themselves.
Season 6 of the series proves this formula shows no sign of decreasing in popularity for viewers, gaining 3.8 million views in the past week.
“Dirty Pop: The Boy Band Scam”
“Dirty Pop: The Boy Band Scam” is a salacious and well researched documentary exposé about the shady business dealings of Backstreet Boys and NSYNC manager Lou Pearlman.
The docuseries has been a giant hit for Netflix, racking up a whopping 5.6 million views in the half week it has been out.
“Cobra Kai” Season 6
Finishing our list almost where we began, the 6th and final season of Netflix’s “Cobra Kai” has been a gigantic hit for the network, topping their list of most viewed shows for two weeks in a row.
“Cobra Kai” Season 6 blows every other show on this list out of the water with an astounding 14.6 million views this past week, and nearly 25 million views since it debuted on July 14.
